RAF Coningsby provides a massive improvement over the default airfield in both FS2004 and FSX. The scenery will fit in perfectly with the default scenery in both versions of Flight Simulator and also with the Volume 1 package in Just Flight's VFR Real Scenery photographic scenery series. RAF Coningsby - in Lincolnshire in Eastern England - is the home of the Eurofighter Typhoon in the UK and, of course, of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Tornados and Harriers of 41 Squadron also frequent the main apron as The Fast Jet and Weapons Operational Evaluation Unit. The Southern area Quick Reaction Alert force is also based at Coningsby and is shared by 3 Squadron (Typhoon) and 25 Squadron (Tornado) on a rotational basis.
